I'm sorry, but you are incorrect.

Over a year ago before this whole issue came up, I pointed out in a Safenet column that Google is "contributing to" terrorists fundraising efforts, not with money, but by not watching the store.

We track hundreds of phishing and stalker sites paired with spam each week. An alarming number of them lead to revenue producing efforts located at IP addresses in terrorist areas.

There's little that can be done about it because ICANN continues to allow "Domain Kiting" -- a practice widly used by organized crime, many of which lead to the middle east and eastern europe.

Google allows any web site owner, ISP or Registrar with hundreds of domains to be listed and ranked with link-farm sites, no matter what the nature. Using the 5-day remission period for domain payment, ICANN allows theys "kiters" to purchase hundreds of thousands of dead domains -- and they have five days before they have to either pay or the domains are dropped and returned to the available domain pool.

The Kiters, (with automated server farms) load the domains with link farms, phishing knock-offs, online drug affiliate sites and Google AdSence farms for the five days -- but then DROP the domains before they are forced to pay. They send their domain registration bots immediately back and re-register the domains for another 5-day period.

In the mean time, millions of these kited and bogus domains are finding their way to the TOP of google searches, and spam email, sucking in unweary surfers to extort them and borrow their identities.

Google: "Domain Kiting" and you'll see.

[...] Shoemoney did another post entitled ” Be Careful With Journalists - Google Accused of funding Terrorists Part 2.” He said “The sad part of this story (so far) is all the journalist want is me on record saying that Google is funding terrorism or some crap like that.
Shoe,

This is shameless terrorbaiting. While you're definitely not the first to exploit terrorbating (homeland security) you certainly raised an eyebrow or two in the Internet marketing space. Time to grow up.
