Pubcon 2006 – Huge Turnout

by Jeremy Schoemaker on November 18, 2006 · 10 comments

Pubcon rocked. Congrats to Brett on a incredible show. The vendors really made out well on this. I had a lot of reps from companies that did not have a booth say they wished they would have and definitely will in the future.

I always like Webmaster World conferences. The sessions are really amazing. Its truly a place where the presenters do not hold back. I got a little bit of face time with Brett about possibly speaking at the next Pubcon.

It was really nice to meet new faces. To all of you who came up and introduced yourselves to me, really, thanks! I enjoyed meeting you all. ESPECIALLY the ones who were wearing ShoeMoney gear. You guys really rock hardcore.

The parties were off the hook. Yahoo and MSN put on some really nice events. It was my first time actually attending the “Pubcon”. Normally I fly out before the day after the conferences so I have always missed the Pubcons. It was a great experience and I plan to attend more in the future.

Seeing industry friends always is a great time. Really so many no way I could list them all.

Double Down Dillsmack and I played a LOT of poker with our good friends Greg Hartnett and Brian “I’m not a Baldwinâ€? Prince from Best Of The Web, Marcus the crazy German, Shawn “Easy Moneyâ€? Hogan, Dax “I’m determined to get us thrown out of a casinoâ€? Herrera , Adam “the sharkâ€? Sussman, Chris “Rebuyâ€? Boggs (I nicknamed him rebuy cause he kept getting more chips but then he kicked all our asses).

Special thanks to Barbara and Greg Boser for inviting us to Gregs birthday party. We were truly honored to attend. Hope you had a great birthday Greg and wish you many more bro.

What a great time in Vegas!

Hey, we thought that conference was amazing. Everyone there was just awesome. I can’t believe it was our first one, we should have everyone a long time ago. Great people, great knowledge sharing, and a great time. Can’t wait to see everyone again.

Thanks to all the party hosts and especially the Bosers. I definitely was honored to be there.

Great to see everyone else at the Pubcon. Its always a pleasure, and this was an exception only in how exceptionally fun it was.

was fun seeing you shoe. Shandyking called me river rat due to a couple squeakers. Truth be told, it pays to rebuy a couple times cause then they never see you coming. let’s do a tournament one night in Chicago…

Was nice to meet ya and chat a bit. Had fun playing poker both nights. I think that was one of the highlights outside of Greg’s party. Dill grabed the memory card so lets see them pictures… email me if you want me to send you the poker table videos and pics.

See ya again at another event sometime.
