AzoogleAds 2.0 Users First Impressions

I am still on the older AzoogleAds system but I have solicited some peoples opinions on how its working for them.

Over at Digitalpoint it seems pretty thumbs down so far but user sknydave has the most indepth review-

Here’s my quick review of AzoogleAds 2.0

When I was first switched over to 2.0, I made the mistake of going straight to my stats like I do every morning. After a few failed attempts at trying to see my daily stats and having no success, I started to wonder what in the world was wrong. In order to access any account data, you must first “update your profile.” Once you’ve clicked that button you can proceed as usual.

The statistics page is much different, although I honestly don’t use any of the new features available. Some of the features available are simple things like stats by month, day, week, etc. I suppose the search bar and ability to sort by traffic type options may come in handy for some affiliates who run a whole lot of different offers and need an easier way of sifting through their stats. There are also some fancy looking charts available which display clicks/leads, year to date, and a combination of the two. You can also export a CSV file of your stats.

When going through offers available for promotion it is a bit slower than the previous version. One of the nice things I like about 2.0 is the way they now separate links for email, web/banner, search, and incentivized traffic. There is no confusion whether or not an offer is allowed to be promoted through any particular form of internet marketing. Suppression lists and banned keywords are easy to find and download once you’ve clicked on your preferred method of promotion. The sub-id system works exactly the same as it did before.

Making the transition to 2.0 was really easy and after a day or two I am already accustomed to the layout. The only problem I think some will have is in the new format they have decided to use for links. Publishers will have to change all links within 3 months to the new format, so make sure you switch them over!

Here is my quick review.

Azoogle 2.0 is very nice – the new website and interface. The functionality is great, but I find it annoying to not be able to use the back button when searching for offers. Also, I find it kind of hard to find regular 428×90 and 728×90 banners on offers that had them in Azoogle 1.0. The reports are much more advanced in Azoogle 2.0. Another thing I like is the picture of my account manager and his contact info in the upper right hand corner. Overall I think Azoogle has done a good job with version 2.0 but their are a few bugs that could be worked out – such as a few offers that do not redirectly corrects (I believe most of these were fixed yesterday).

Will be interesting to get some first hand experience with it. I should be moved this week.

If anyone has done or found good indepth review(s) of the new AzoogleAds 2.0 system please ping me and I will link them up ;)

I can’t login to my azoogle account since 2.0 went live and no one ever picks up my phone call and my account manager never calls me back

Azoogle 2.0 is just a reskin of the exact same 1.0 engine. It is garbage, as usual with Azoogle.

I had started a few days earlier with the older version, so it has taken some getting used to. The overall layout is much nicer than the old format, and I love the new landing page which is nice and colorful.
The whole url thing changed a bit but maybe that is for the better, so that took some getting used to. There are some minor bugs in the searching process from what I can see and some other kinks but I am sure those will be resolved soon. Also…the redirection to 2.0 seems quite slow…
Change is hard, but in this case, I think it is for the better.

It’s taking getting used to but like anything it’s getting better as I get used to it.

Dislikes:
-Stats layout/representation of what means what
-Stats options HIDE after you search but have clicked VIEW/Advanced
-Sort by SUBID really sucks and requires way to much reading. I really liked being able to select my SUB ID and then a date-range and that was ALL that was displayed. (Maybe this is possible and I haven’t figured it out yet.)

That’s all I can think of off the top of my head.

Azoogle is great to work with and WILL take our concerns to heart.

I’ve been working with azoogleads since september, so I’m not an old publisher. I’m very pleased with the new format so far. Te individual offer page is more straightforward and it is very clear which ways of promotion are allowed for each offer.

I had the same problem and found that if I used the password I originally signed up with then it let me in. I had changed my password on version 1 and that new password wouldnt let me in to V2.

I’ve been happy with AzoogleAds since the early summer when you first pointed me in their direction. But, I’m not the hardcore marketer necessarily represented here. Keep up the good work, Shoe. Hope to see you at Pubcon.
