Our Guest was Linda Buguet of 5 Star Affiliate Programs

Linda came, introduced herself and her background we immediately started talking affiliates. A hot topic of course was the gambling casinos. Also Linda gave several examples and warnings about who you affiliate with.

I gave a example of how 1 time I was given a DMCA from the RIAA because I LINKED to a ringtone affiliate - dadamobile. My provider threatened to turn off my server unless I complied with the DMCA. It was really lame because of course dadamobile is licensed but just a example of how you really need to be on the ball.

One of the things during the show I thought was really informational is Linda explains the difference between a cpa and affiliate network. I had never really thought about that before but I think its important that people understand the difference.

I also talked about a really interesting situation I am currently in with Google. (post to follow soon about this).

We took calls from listeners and answered questions from the chat room. It was a great show!
