AzoogleAds Responds Rumors On Wickedfire Forums

By Jeremy Schoemaker 10 comments

Alex, co-founder of AzoogleAds publicly responded on wickedfire forums about them letting 16 people go.

He also addresses the actual state of affiliate marketing saying its doubled in the last 6 months alone.

Hi guys,

We did in fact let go of some people in our Toronto office, around 16 employees. This has nothing to do with the “cpa industry slowing down.” In fact, we are still growing like a weed. Azoogle still has almost 140 employees. In any growing company, you need to hire the best but also you need to ensure that you trim your staff when necessary to remove redundant employees, as well as your lowest performers. Just because someone “does the job” does not mean that they deserve to keep it. If someone else can service the client better, then we want the better employee to service the client. Azoogle was not built by hiring employees that were just “good enough,” we want the best and brightest in the industry to lead this company.

This round of spring cleaning won’t really affect affiliates at all, as the affiliate group is only growing, in fact its nearly twice bigger today than it was 6 months ago.

Cheers!
Alex

Wow I thought Azoogle was a company with about 15-20 employees. I never expected they’d have almost 140 employees :O

Before becoming self employed I was laid off from 3 jobs, and guess what - every one of them said the company was doing great up til the day of the layoff.

What the Azoogle situation is I don’t know, but I do know that if the ship is sinking they’ll deny it right to the very end.

140 seems to be very excessive for the amount of offers that they have. I am surprised that they only RIF’d 16, they should have done more.

Uhhmm… affiliate managers deal with a LOT of affiliates not just the number of offers.

I’d rather have an affiliate manager who works with 50 affiliates and not 100 (just a random #).

I hope they can improve their support staff. This is my second application and didn’t receive any response by weeks. If they don’t want me on their network at least let me know.

You keep posting about Azoogle in a negative light but you still have a big fat Azoogle banner on the right.

The only complaint I have about Azoogle is they dont have their own propietery ad rotate link Commision Junction. There service has been quick and my affiliate manager has gotten back to my questions quickly and with the answers I need…

Here is the site running Azoogle ads… getCredit365.com
