(And link) The ancient Polynesian religions are so diverse it’s impossible to pin down an exact cause-and-effect for western names/meanings for the various Tikis but they have a Tiki God for all kinds of things like Hospitality, Victory, Happiness, Fertility, Friendship, etc, and they all have a very distinct look. The “God of Money� Tiki seems to be a very popular character with the local carvers, souvenir shops & collectors.
