FInally in Vegas

Yesterday I sucked it up and got us tickets on southwest (and ate the price) so all 4 of us arrived in vegas yesterday afternoon. Ya thanks for all the emails and comments about thats what I get for living in BFE I GET IT

Think of where you live like keywords in a search. Sometimes it makes sense to go after less competitove keyword combinations. Sometimes it also makes sense to live in BFE (obviously not in your case this time). And if you are really lucky, companyies come to you here in BFE, like MS is in August. I live 60 miles from you shoe, but flying out of Lincoln on a puddle jumper does blow. Where is the shoemoney jet?

I hear you man! I used to live about 200 miles straight north of you along good ol’ I29. Being self-employed I’ve made many driving trips to the cities or to Omaha to get a better rate and an overall shorter trip!! Sad when driving for 4 hours makes the trip shorter than flying out of my home town!!

Southwest is better anyway. They are a lot more organized and efficient.

Still need to get your Shoemoney airplane. There is nothing better then landing in Vegas on your own plane.

A newborn is usually the trump card in getting what you want with airlines. Show up early, be courteous and a little frazzled. Make sure you have your wife and child at the counter with you. Usually make things go pretty smooth in my experience.
