Enjoyed the show. When you mentioned creating a landing page similar to that of the vendor’s site, is it better or necessary to create a landing page having a similar URL as the vendor’s, or is it sufficient to use your own single domain url along with matching the feel or look of the vendor’s purchase page?

Great show man keep them coming and please go more in detail when possible. I know sometimes that would disrupt the flow of the show but maybe sometimes just go for maybe 1 or 2 topics per show?

I’ve just got to say that this was one of the most interesting and useful podcasts I’ve ever listened to. The amount of information and the expertise given was excellent. Thank you.

I hate to say this but I wish the guest s could have the chance to speak a little more, especially well spoken guests like Kris.

    75% Guest 25% Host — might be better .

    Keep up the good work.

I really liked the show. 2 questions:
    - How can I call in? Is there a URL with the number?
    - How do you get around MSN adCenter editorial constraints? I have KWs that are branded terms, and landing pages that are sign-ups for the product, and after about a week, adCenter rejects some keywords – because it thinks the landing pages aren’t relevant. They also hit me on mis-spelled words. Any hints on how to avoid this?

    Entrep,

I don’t think that’s a dumb question at all. I look forward to Shoe’s perspective on it, but I think Google is just replacing the middleman. This is over-simplifying, but right now you have A, the advertiser, B, the broker (affiliate network), C the platform (Google), and D, publishers. Soon, Google will be B and C. AND, after their payment system gets traction, they’ll have another piece of the transaction not even listed above.

Was a good show, what i missed was that one of you both goes somewhat deeper into tracking.
How you track with querystrings in combination with subids for example. Using an special program or how you do it ?
I mean you can see exactly after a month for example, keyword1-clicked 1000 times-converted 30 times and so on.

Im just listening to your podcast and you say that CPA ads on Google would be better for everyone – but wouldn’t this remove the need for alot of affiliate marketers? If I could put a $4 CPA ad on Google, which I get paid personally $5 for, it’s a no brainer, I couldnt not make money. Or is it not that simple?

In your podcast you said that a Google CPA model would be better for everyone all round. But wouldnt this put a lot of affiliate marketers out of business? If I, for example, paid $4 for a CPA ad on Google, and linked it to an offer I get $5 for, then its a no brainer – anyone could do it with a 100% success rate, so why would there be a need for affiliate marketers?

PS: Apologies if I have misinterpreted something or this is a dum question, Im still learning the ropes.
