Markus was my guest on this show. He is the owner/webmaster/programer of the 3rd largest dating site plentyoffish.com. Although we bumped heads a while back on how his site started there is no doubt we can all agree he knows how to make money. I thought Markus would also be a great guest to give a point of view from someone who has built a multi-million dollar website.
I thought it was a ok show. I really thought we would have had more callers like the other shows. I am not sure exactly where I want to take the show either with guests of successful websites or experts with companies. Many people have sugested I get someone from AzoogleAds to come on the show and talk about what they do.
If anyone has any ideas for future guests or direction of the show I am always open to sugestions.
Already confirmed for a July show is Andrew Goodman- Best selling author of the book Winning Results with Google AdWords (Paperback) That will probably happen later in July. I am really looking forward to talking PPC with Andrew and also taking calls.
I want to thank Markus for coming on the show. He was very gracious and answered every question from every caller. You can check out Markus blog here

hey I can make money $0.01/day
you and markus are my inspirations…you both make lots of money on the net…good going
Nice job on this show. I learned a lot. I wish my server wouldn’t crash….
Hello
Does anyone know what forums Markus Frind belongs to?
Does anyone know what forum Markus Frind is a member of?
In regards to the CPA for Google, I’ve already said it here…
Pay Per Conversion
How about a show on the very basics.
Picking a topic, Should it be based on SERP competition, click value, etc? How much is too much competition to avoid a topic?
Which type of site, forum, blog, informational content, etc
Which type of ads? adsense, cpm, affiliate links?
What to so when you don’t have your own network of sites to help you get ranked? Try to exchange links? buy links? etc
Hi Shoe
I think you should “interview” yourself.
Maybe tell us a bit more about one
of your smaller sites, how it got
there, how you do some PPC, etc
Would be a real eye opener
Great listen thanks for doing this .
Shoe has 10k domains? holy shit.
Mod +1 on Blazin’s idea.
Ideas for the show: more black hat type stuff. Lots of us hanging around already know some of this stuff we are looking for the real secrets. What do you really do with 10k domains? create the perfect Google page rank storm for your own sites etc? Too bad, I know you will never reveal most of what I really want to know.
I agree. Great Idea
Great idea Blazin!
Hey Shoe , I have an idea for what you should do as part of your show.. You should start some kind of single landing page and walk all of us through it and even how you setup the azoogle and adsense stuff and let all the listeners and people interested in your forum follow it fron the beginning and slowly watch how it progresses in hits and page rank and show the sales statistics and all the progress that the site makes from day 1 and it would be a good example for new commers to learn what this is all about. … thats just an idea I had so let me know if you would do this or something simular that we could all watch and track ok thanks..
Blazin.
I disagree. I think Barry does a great job. I wish that part of the show was longer. I think he has a good voice and obviously knows what he’s talking about.
The webcast was good and informative overall, but Barry Schwartz really isn’t suited for radio. He talks too fast and fumbles his words a bit. Also, the audio was terrible.
You buncha fanboy’s! I bet you’re Microsoft fanboys too, aren’t ya?
Anyway, just kidding, I think it would be a good idea to use both methods of guests of networks, or companies, and guests who have done a big part in making a killing online. Maybe split the show in two. Would be a pain to set the show up and the guests and alot of work, but I have faith in you Shoe! haha
Or maybe just alter it and have a guest on at the end of the show, and the first half nothing but callers with websites that are having trouble making money with, and you show them some steps to optimize it to squeeze every penny out.
I got quite a few ideas, some are prolly stupid, but I’ll spit them anyway if you wanna know.
Rick
Hey Shoe,
I thought you did a great job as always on the show. You really have a nice way about you….you are kind and humble and it really shines through.
Markus on the other hand really seems to be lacking in that area. He seemed to be very abrupt, harsh and cocky. Too bad.
Anyway, keep up the good work!
I’d love to hear from Alex at Azoogle. Should make a good show. Maybe get someone from Revenue.net and/or Hydra Media in at the same time and you can have a CPA tete-a-tete. That’d be fun!
I’ll join the Azoogle Fanboy club even though they are NOT a bunch of saints and there is more than one person there that really pisses me off. Can’t argue once the cheque clears though…
Since you just had a newborn i was not even sure the show was going to be on, so i didnt checked it out – maybe be many people thought the same and thats the reason for the low caller turnout?.
