The other Matt – The Creator of WordPress claims he has been banned from google. Matt has had the honor of the #1 spot in Google for the keyword “matt” for a long time.

Other Matt – Really dude do you care? I mean you include your blog and your friends blogs in every install of wordpress and force us to read your headines in the wordpress admin panel. A very smart move if you ask me. I mean after all its free software.

In unrelated news Matt Cutts has moved up 2 spots for the keyword “Matt” on Google.

What’s up with that guy? Didn’t he manage to get Wordpress.org banned before after publishing thousands of finance / debt collection articles with AdSense on them …

It’ll be interesting to see how long it takes for him to be reincluded … last time it was what … 2 – 3 days?

Yes they have banned before but this time it’s the noindex meta tag in their site.

Looks like Matt’s back in the index, and ranking #1 for ‘Matt’ again from the server I’m hitting.

In unrelated news, just wanted to say thanks to Shoemoney. Reading your blog & seeing your phatty checks from Google has been an inspiration.

4 weeks later (after its launch), one of my sites just hit its first 11k+ pageview day and is still goin! (its just a temporary influx of ‘hot’ keyword searchers, but hopefully this trend’ll continue)

Yeah, that default link to his blog in WP is really annoying, it should be linking to shoemoney.com :p
