Whats up graywolf ? post your gas pics

by Jeremy Schoemaker on May 19, 2006 · 18 comments

Graywolf recently made a challenge for people to post there gas pics from there cell phones. (BTW do not hold onto the nozzle while taking the pic or you could set yourself on fire and blow up everyone around you).

I recently filled up my H2 from below E and it took this pic:

The first 10 people to post pics here I will send out your choice of black or white shoemoney hats =) The first 3 will also get a bonus shoemoney gift. The pics of the pump must beat mine. The most expensive will get a super bonus prize!

Seems kinda crappy to celebrate getting horrible gas mileage guys… I’d be more impressed if you had a prius tricked out with a battery and got 80mpg. Posts like this give the usa a bad name.

Damn… if only I hadn’t filled up my Soarer yesterday… 70 Litres @ $1.35AUD a litre ($73USD at today’s rate). I’ll take a photo one of these days JUST for one of those shoemoney hats.

Damn, it costs me more than that to fill up here in the UK and I’ve only got an old Ford Escort :)

Um, I’ve got a camera on my phone but it went through the washing machine so doesn’t work any more…

I spend 127 dollars to fill up my 406 Coupé, 70 liters of gas… And you think your fuel is expensive!

Dang I’ve only gotten as high as $55. Now not that I’m encouraging talking while at the dispensing pedestal, but mythbusters did an episode debunking that whole cell phone explosion thing. You actually are much more likely to make a spark opening your car door and getting in and out of it while pumping.

Yeah, I’m in Europe here, too. You fill up a HUMMER for 70 bucks and complain? Oh please, wussies :)

23 dollars for 70 litres of petrol!!

The same amount here in the uk would cost the equivalent of
131 dollars…

Only $70 – you are a lucky man. My Ford Mondeo costs GBP60 to fill – around $100.
Also lucky for being able to take photos in a petrol station.
If you pull out a mobile phone in a petrol station in Scotland to take a pic, crack security forces emerge from the toilets and have you in handcuffs before you can sneeze.

Ok, here’s my entry. I drive a Ford F250 with dual tanks. The pump had a $75.00 max authorization, so I had to reauthorize my card to continue (hence the two images. My truck took a total of $98.43. Can anyone top that?

I did $95 yesterday, I’m in the UK though so we grab our ankles for everything here!
Marlboro’s are about $9 a pack as well
Levis jeans about $117

No wonder they call it the good ole US of A
