ses day 3 - my last day in nyc
Today was a really good day for sessions. The first one I went to was called link building and had experts like Greg Boser, Chris Boggs and Mike Grehan speaking on the panel. I picked up some good tips then headed out to hang with Barry AKA RustyBrick for a while in the press room.
After that I went up and hung out with the Best Of the web guys for a while until lunch time rolled around. I went down stairs to check my email when Stuntdoubl introduced himself and sat down for a bit. What a nice guy stuntdoubl is.
I had lunch with ShandyKing and talked to a really nice lady about doing internation search engine marketing.
After lunch I hit up the “Pimp My Site” session which is always one of my favorites. Dax did a SUPER job Mc’ing the pimps.
Check out the little vid I took of them entering in there pimp outfits!

[...] My newsreader has been stuffed full this week of posts about how much people are enjoying SES NY. Reading posts by Shoemoney, Matt Cutts, Jim Boykin etc get me extremely jealous. I’d love to be able to drop everything and jet across the ocean to hang out and drink with some of the legends of search. Jetting off like this though is extremely expensive, and would the stuff I learned and the contacts I made be justified? It would be a good reason to get my kilt on though - I’m sure that would start them all talking. Anyway, it’s all moot. Boosucks to NY, SES is coming to London at the end of May and I’m going to do my damnedest to be there. It might not be quite the same level of event as NY but I’m sure all the British SEO guys are going to do their best to make it as successful as possible. [...]
