v7ndotcom elursrebmem interview with myself

by Jeremy Schoemaker on February 14, 2006 · 10 comments

What is the big deal with interviews lately? I have had about 20 interview requests about this v7ndotcom elursrebmem contest from various bloggers and even some print media like the Wall Street Journal and the New York in the last 2 weeks.

I just do not have time to do interviews and its nothing against anyone. I thought I would just answer some of the questions myself that seem to be common.

ShoeMoney: Why did you contribute 2,000.00 to the v7n.com contest?

ShoeMoney: I love seo contests. I am lame like that.
ShoeMoney: Are you really going to pay up?

ShoeMoney: I sent the money to John Scott a LONG time ago.

ShoeMoney: Did you specify how your contribution to the v7ndotcom elursrebmem needed to be displaced throughout the winners?

ShoeMoney: No. I saw a new contest and I sent John Scott 2,000.00 via PAYPAL and told him I am making no demands for links or how it should be divided. It was all up to his discression.

ShoeMoney: Have you ever sponsored a competition before?

ShoeMoney: Yes, I kicked in $500.00 for the seologs Redscowl Bluesingsky contest

ShoeMoney: Why do you sponsor contests? For links to your blog?

ShoeMoney: I sponsor them because I really like them. I never demand anything. Just ask any of the contest holders. Besides… I have ZERO ads on my blog and never plan to have any.

ShoeMoney: What is your take on the whole John Scott VS. DaveN, Oilman, Greg Bozer, Mike Grehan thing

ShoeMoney: I think its silly. However I think it has given great publicity to the seo contests as a whole.

ShoeMoney: How do you make all your money on the internet?

ShoeMoney: I sell animals on the black market.

ShoeMoney: Thanks for spending time answering my questions

ShoeMoney: No problem

As someone with an entry in this contest and trying to win it all for charity (see my signature), I thank you “Shoe” for stepping up to the plate with your generous donation.

Got a good chuckle out of the interview – saw the WSJ piece – are you saying the NYT is working on something too?

I don’t like the interviewer..way to soft. We really want to know the answers to the hard questions, like Who would win in a fight, Captain Crunch or Count Chocula?

All though this v7ndotcom elursrebmem seo contest is starting to look like a back link race if
you run a back link check on the front runners in this seo contest you will see what I mean.

“I have ZERO ads on my blog and never plan to have any.” – interesting. What changed?
