So I emailed my friend Matt over @ Google the other day asking him what size and where I should send his Official Shoemoney Shirt to.
He replied with this -
Hey, we try to keep folks in webspam from accepting gifts, so it’s only fair that I do my best to uphold that. I appreciate the thought though!
Matt
Whatever Mr Matt “I cant be bribed” Cutts. OBVIOUSLY you never even checked the photo gallery to see how cool the ShoeMoney Long Sleeve Beefy T’s are!!!!
In all seriousness though I replied and just expressed my thanks for him taking the time to make a great blog.

Matt Cutts would say something like that… if you’d like to send an XL this way I’ll rock you’re shirt and even write a post about how you sent me one and include a picture. Free advertising (or close to), cant beat it.

I was looking for a place to comment on one of your photos, but don’t see that function listed, so I’m leaving it here. I just wanted to say that the photo of you holding the huge Azoogle check would look more realistic if the check cast a shadow on the ground and a reflection on the hummer. Pretty funny, though – reminds of those checks they give to game show contestants…

I want our webspam team to avoid even the appearance of impropriety.

So, is bribery a good strategy for SEOing all those scraper sites? (just kidding!)

I think you should get Andrea to model them… my guess is she’ll sell more than you.

Makes me wonder if they have or had a problem with web spam employees being bribed. How’s that for SEO for the 21st century? Forget buying text links, buy Google employees!

It would have worried me had he accepted. First comes the shirt, then the hotel vouchers, then the free trips … it all starts somewhere hehe
